New Years Assignment: DO THIS TODAY! And you'll...
I totally love this.  I must do this each and ever year to really see what and who I am developing into.  Even at my age I still feel like a teenager that wants to know what they will be like when they “grow up”.  (credit to the Chicago Tribune’s longtime columnist Mary Schmich, published originally December 2005) YEAR IN REVIEW When you consciously review your year, you may...

This is one of my twitters from today.  NOTHING was open in Perth.  I drove to 5 different photo shops to try and buy some polaroid film for tonights events.  Not even a processing lab.  I was so very frustrated.

Road Less Traveled
I am really feeling this poem by RF today.  It reflects my feelings about my work situation at the moment.  I have never taken the road well traveled, always the one less traveled and yes he was right, it did make all the difference.  Maybe, just maybe I could, just this once take the one well traveled? I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence Two roads diverged in a wood...

Google is God
This is from Jeff Jarvis.  It really does amaze me as well….For something I’m working on, I compiled a bunch of stats on Google (sorry, I didn’t intend to blog it and so I didn’t capture all the links, but I found the collection so compelling I thought I’d share it):• Google is the “fastest growing company in the history of the world.” – Times of London, 1/29/06 • Google controls 65.1% of...

under sky and sea
Under a sky of alabaster, we watched the sun melt away.  The time is now this is our time the moments rushing daylight faster, our pillows wait now for our sleep. Instead let’s keep on walking and talk.  About everything between sky and sea. Lyrics from the wonderful song “under sky and sea” by Drive Index

The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock
T.S. Eliot (1888–1965).  Prufrock and Other Observations.  1917.

to make it feel like Christmas by listening to carols:  old school with Bing and Sammy and Dean.  It’s not working.  Hot weather and singing about snow does not cut it for me I’m afraid.
