I once met Robert Hughes in my local pharmacy when I was living in Soho. he lived around the corner. He was in bad bad shape and I gushed all over him. He looked at me like I was some silly little girl. But, I did make him smile at least. He is an amazing writer.

Sheesh, even I haven’t read this yet. Colour me impressed. Robert Hughes is a bit of a legend, though. I just didn’t think his legend status reached beyond our shores…well, maybe a bit in the UK, but certainly not in the States…
Now I’ve got a bug to have a gander…
